As far as “Shotgun Wedding” goes, BetterThanYou11 is right. BUT! This song was based on the book Inivsible Monsters, and in the book Evie Cottrell shoots Brandy Alexander at her wedding. Thats what they mean here.
@adriboohearts thats not a shotgun wedding – that’s called “eloping” – a shotgun wedding is when both parties are forced into marriage due to an unplanned pregnancy, its name comes from when the father of the bride would have a shotgun in the grooms back, making sure he didn’t back out
