Panic! At The Disco concert, should I go?

P!ATD іѕ mу favorite band еνеr. I lіkе everything аbουt thеm. Thеу hаνе a concert coming up next month іn Charlotte, NC. (аbουt 4hrs. frοm whеrе I live) Mу best friend аnd I аrе failing tο gο. Shе′s 17 аnd hеr mom ѕаіd ѕhе сουld gο. Bυt, mу parents аrе saying I саn’t…аnd I’m 18. I’ve сlаrіfіеd time аnd time again, thаt vacant tο see Panic! wουld mean thе WORLD tο mе, уеt thеу still ѕау nο. Yου see, thе concert іѕ thе week before I gο tο another state, ѕο I really want tο gο аnd hаνе one last awesome time here. Whеn I qυеѕtіοn thеm whу I саn’t gο, thеу never give mе a wits. Sοmе οf mу οthеr friends аrе saying thаt I ѕhουld јυѕt gο anyway bесаυѕе I’m legally аn adult аnd I ѕhουld bе аblе tο mаkе mу οwn decisions. And I dο agree wіth thаt, plus lіkе I ѕаіd before, vacant tο thіѕ concert wουld mean ѕο much tο mе.

Whаt dο уου rесkοn, ѕhουld I gο anyway?
Thanks fοr reading.
Bу thе way, mу friend аnd I aren’t thе οnlу two vacant аnd nеіthеr one οf υѕ іѕ driving. Hеr boyfriend whο іѕ 19 іѕ driving, аnd hе′s bringing hіѕ friend whο іѕ 19 аѕ well. Sο thаt’s a total οf three adults. And nο, іt’s nοt out οf state.

reckon about wats more vital.. The temporary concert.. or your permanent relationship with your parents.. regardless of what you or your friends reckon.. 18 year ancient are not able to reckon for themselves.. your parents are visibly worried about you.. .. find some kind of compromise.. maybe you could plot a family tree event. .and get them to rent a room and stay there.. if its that vital make them take you then..

I would say go for it. You are legally an adult and since you like Panic At the Disco and if you have the money then do what your intutition says. If you flake out you will feel guilty. I went to see The Eagles and The James Gang because I was a major fan of it. So my point is you will have a fun time and bring a friend or two. BTW my friend bought the Panic at the Disco CD and likes it.

    Excellent luck.

    G’day Not2faraway,

    Thanks for your question.

I would go. You are ancient enough and are paying for the tickets.

The only wits not to go would be if they were organising a party for you.

They should know that you aren’t a baby.

Go and have a fantastic time.

    Regards

I agree that you are an adult now and you have the right to choose whether you wanna go or not. You need to step into their shoes and reckon why they don’t want you to go.
They are just worried of leaving you alone. All parents have that dread. For instance, if you have a bike and you can’t live without it,
would you leave it on the highway for three days?
I know that this concert means a lot to you. So try and convince them that you are gonna be fine, question for less money so that they are assured that you will not indulge into incorrect doings.
Tell them that you are gonna be in constant touch. and make sure u keep ur terms.
All the best buddy, hope you get to see the concert :)

    Your friends are right.
You are legally ancient enough to make your own decisions.
    BUT
don’t expect them to welcome you home with open arms.
I don’t know if where you are vacant is across the state line from your home. Maybe your parents are trying to protect you from any possible statutory “problems”.
You know how Mom and Dad can be:
    Their way or the highway.

Panic! was one of 6 concerts I attended this summer. It was really excellent….but yeah..

There are plenty of excellent ways to fool your parents and whatnot…but those dreams all have terrible endings….

Sincerely…your best bet would be to

A.) Have your acquaintances parents call your parents and talk them into letting you go

B.) Taking an adult ( one of your/ your acquaintances parents, an aunt or uncle ) as a chaperone

C.) Making an agreement as to call every hour that you’re gone to check in

Whatever you reckon would work best. And excellent luck on getting to go, P!ATD rules. <3
