I’m not gonna lie – I have never been a fan of P!ATD. I’m just not into the kind of music they play. But, after watching this and seeing that they can play a perfect rendition of such a classic song, I do have a lot more respect for them. Same thing goes for a video I saw of Lady Ga-Ga performing “Dyer Maker” by Zeppelin before she was well-known.

i agree with your point, if you purposely watch a band you don’t like just to slag them off…i’d recommend finding something better to do with your time.
I like The Band, but this is an awesome cover, the vocals are so tight.

I’m a huge The Band fan but don’t feel like they are the only ones who have done justice to this song. I like this version well enough though they are doing it a full step down from the original. Any of you who play music will know that even a half step drop can change the feel of a song. This one feels different to me. Not a terrible thing. A cover doesn’t (shouldn’t) have to sound and feel like the original.
i like this cover, they play it very well and the singer sings in his own style. I still reckon Levon’s vocals are untouchable, but it’s a excellent version.
Don’t like this much at all.
Also, the lead singer’s voice doesn’t suit this song at all.
Definitley one of their better pieces of work, but I reckon the lead definitley over did it a bit with the huge change in pitch on some terms. Keep it simple.
he has one of the most only one of its kind voices out there like if you here a song u know “oh thats brendon” theres not many singers you can do thats with and he can in fact sing you gotta respect that

I unquestionably detested Panic at the Disco’s before work, but this freaking video is awesome. The harmonies are tight and the lead singer just goes off. If you reckon he is sucking at singing in this video, you are an idiot and know nothing about music.
