i’d say when he’s 14+ unless you let your kid listen to vulgar language

If you’re ten year ancient son listens to them, and it’s an all ages show he is ancient enough to go. There is no difference from him listening to them than for him to go to a show. I have been vacant to shows since I was 1 month ancient and I turned out just fine. I have a six figure job and have plenty of time to myself.
P.S…If you are that concerned/over protective, you should listen to them. Not my cup of tea, but some people like it. Heres a free link… myspace.com/panicatthedisco

Why would you take your child to such an inappropriate event, for his age? Leave him home with a baby sitter, he would be able to go to that till he is 18 or so, that kind of thing is only for adults.

my god some of you people are set in the 20′s i swear dont have babies until ur married dont have sex until ur married dont let him go to a concert until he is 18 . what the? im 17 and i can say that panic at the disco is a excellent band i like them and i reckon that if u were to go with ur son he would be fine i mean ciao with all the new bands around panic at the disco migh not be around when he is 14. and lets face it we all no kids these days are growing up to quick they have vouge for small girls now so the media and all that other junk is being imposed on the kids so why not go with it

I’ve been vacant to these kinds of concerts since I was 15 years ancient. So I would at least wait til then, because some of these can be pretty rough with crowd surfing and moshing. I myself have a gotten a bloody nose and I have seen worse. So my answer is I wouldn’t be worried about the language but other things.

For a mature, above average kid, 14 plus age is ok for intelligently absorbing essence from all that chaff and noise all around us in the hotch potch world of entertainment and social agitations! Assuming that a sensitive, responsible parent (or parents) finds time now and then to do ‘family tree time’ with children (or, child) at home and out at picnics and other places, to help the child to develop well! Your question shows visibly that you are aware of your role!

I took my son to his first punk show last month and he’s 6. He loved it! I’m not sure what kind of music “Panic at the disco” plays but I’m sure he’ll have a fantastic time as long as you go with him and its an all ages show. One of my friends has taken all her kids to concerts since they were babys since she has an uncle thats in the Melvins. Her kids are fantastic kids and more intelligent than most that have been raised in a too safe enviroment with stuffy parents. Plus her kids have common sense, which isn’t so common these days.
